For shamisen, he studied under the late Ichikawa Takemono, a disciple of Takahashi Chikuzan. For shinobue, he studied under the late Ichiso Yukimasa, a master flutist of the Ichimono school of Noh music, a lineage continuing since the Azuchi-Momoyama period.
With 37 years of performance experience, Japanese musician Kohei Inoue will carefully teach you everything from basic posture to producing sound.
Beginners and experienced players are both welcome.
